Hi,

Since 3.7.x is out I updated my site after asking open graph solution was supporting it. The answer was yes. Well it does not.
The open graph solution button under the editor is not showing. And in the component my new articles do not show. So it isn't of any use anymore.
Can you please help me out ? It is not useable this way.

After our upgrade to 3.7.x we lost the ability to add an OG Image as the 'select' button is not clickable. Tried in several different browsers.

Guys & Gals, I have used this extension for a few years, and love it. I was as bummed as you when the Image button stopped working upon J3.7 update. However, all is NOT lost. I have been adding those in the individual records in the Com Open Graph directly. So, first I simply add the Title and save the record in the Content item, and then go the Com Open Graph extension and complete the other fields there. Not convenient, but usable until 4.3 fix arrives.

Now - this portion is for Joomla Kave -
I am using JCE Editor, and the buttons that were at the bottom of the Edit window (Module / Images / .. / Read More / Open Graph ) have been shifted from the bottom to the top upon Open Graph install. Furthermore, note that the Description box text doesn't wrap either.

I would like to mention at this juncture, that what would be a REALLY helpful feature is to be able to click a COPY button and duplicate the Title, Intro Image, and Meta Description content Fields into the Open Graph fields on the Article Edit page. This would save time copy and pasting these elements, which I add for search engines anyway. Yes, if I want something custom for Facebook, then I could still enter my custom text / image in these fields, but the Copy button would certainly streamline the process!

Looking forward to the 4.3 + updates... and hope the Joomla Kave family had a great vacation.

Peace, Wesley

Heyyy, thank you for your response and this news, waiting for it to be or as soon as possible; This is a great extension and I enjoy a lot and with which I am satisfied. In the update that is done I hope that they can make it possible for the images that appear in twiter, as well as their description, to be bigger, like for example, this one that appears when you share a link of an information of the newspaper the country, to look at the image .

Hi

@Wesley Derbyshire, that is the thing I cannot use it in this way since there are no new articles in Open Graph component.
@Rion,
I started this topic on the 30th of May. What you wrote yesterday I read from you two weeks ago. And now it is still the same! I like the component and I like it most of all when I can use it. So can you tell me will it be July or August?

DJOBabs - I am not sure if you were replying to my comment only made a the other day. I am able to use the OG 4.2 for Joomla in the following manner, and note I use JCE Pro as my article editor. I create a new article, after I save the article, I click the OG button, which is currently above the JCE editor, I complete the Title field, which is below the JCE Editor, and also has the other fields, Image and Description. I do not complete those fields. I save the OG item by clicking the button at the very bottom. I then go to the com Open Graph in the Components menu, and open the new record which is based on the Title name, and complete the balance of the fields. Not convenient but it gets the job done. You could also set OG to pull the Description from Meta Description field in the Article Publishing tab, and just add an image into the Into Image field in the Content Article too.... that will get the job done also.
