Hello,

I am trying to make a pdf, that is in a directory protected by httpacces, appear in an article. (If I show the pdf of an unprotected directory it works correctly).

I am using {pdf=http: //user:password%http://40web.com/protected/document.pdf |100%|800|pdfjs}. Until a few days ago it worked correctly, but now it has stopped working.

What tests can I perform to check why it is not working?

Thank's
Fernando

Have you checked that the permission of the file is changed or not?

I tried it a moment ago.
When I entered the first time it did not work, but closing the browser and re-entering it worked.
Could it be due to some kind of delay in loading the file?
Is there any way to make the joomla article load after getting the pdf?

Thank you.
Fernando

There are ways to do it. Joomla have different controller methods. But not sure how to implement that in your site. Of course you need cpanel access to test it.

Ok. I'll look to review the configuration.

Another question
How can the message that appears in the viewer be changed (or remove) by another that does not report the path of the file that it is trying to display?

Thank's
