Hello,
Recently I noticed the website in question runs very slow so I decided to turn cache on, however that causes the module to not load at all. I left cache on but disabled it only for the module and it loaded but the one page it was assigned to was still running very slowly. Yesterday it failed to load altogether (error 504) and I had no other choice but to set cache within the module to global so that at least the page loaded. I'm guessing the module isn't working because cache breaks the connection with the FB API however would it be possible to implement a more static mode for the module for cases like these so that the module would load with cache on and only check for updates in the FB group when reloading the page?
Thanks,
Agata

Hello,
The site is live and I currently don't have an up to date sandbox. Turning cache on greatly improved loading time throughout but the page in question still takes too long to load. The module is definitely at least part of the issue because when I change the number of latest items to display from 5 to 20, there's a time-out and the page fails to load altogether.
Thanks,
Agata

Hi,

The site loading time may be caused by other issues rather than cache. Can we help you do an investigation for the cause of slowness of the site? Then we can specifically solve the extension issue after solving the website issue. Please let us know.

Thanks,
Sadiq
